On the 4th, local media in Taiwan reported that Mr. A, who lives in Changhua, Taiwan, offered a reward of 300,000 New Taiwan Dollars (approximately 12.8 million KRW) last month to find his lost dog, Mika. Mika is believed to have gotten lost after escaping through an open back door while playing inside the house without a leash.

Mr. A checked the closed-circuit television (CCTV) of nearby shops and inquired with neighbors, sparing no time or effort. Despite this, Mika was hard to find, and eventually, Mr. A posted a notice on his social networking service (SNS) along with the large reward to find Mika.

This story quickly spread among netizens. Those who saw Mr. A’s SNS made efforts such as searching for Mika themselves, and more than 20 informants reached out to Mr. A offering help after the post was made.

Then, on the 24th of last month, Mr. B, who was out for a walk, happened to find Mika, took a photo, and sent it to Mr. A, then followed Mika. Meanwhile, a couple also recognized Mika and followed along with Mr. B. Upon receiving Mr. B’s contact, Mr. A went to the scene and was finally reunited with Mika.

Mr. A expressed his joy, saying, "Thanks to Mr. B and the couple’s help, I was able to find Mika. I am grateful." It is reported that the reward was divided among the three, with each receiving 100,000 New Taiwan Dollars (approximately 4.242 million KRW) after mutual agreement.
