Gangnam-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) announced that it appointed actor Lee Byung-joon and comedian Hwang Shin-young as district ambassadors and held an appointment ceremony at the district office main building on the 1st.
Lee Byung-joon, who showed distinctive acting in dramas such as "The Glory" and "The Youngest Son of a Chaebol Family," is a native resident who has lived in Gangnam-gu for 25 years. Utilizing his unique strong and deep voice, he participated in the narration work for the "2024 Gangnam-gu Vision Promotion Video" and actively served as an ambassador. Based on his experience in movies, musicals, and dramas, he plans to participate in district promotions and events.
Comedian Hwang Shin-young runs the YouTube channel ENA school, which depicts the cheerful parenting life of a mother of triplets and has 700,000 subscribers. As a Gangnam-gu resident, she brightened the event by participating in a happy date for parents with multiple children on June 24. She plans to actively participate in promoting Gangnam-gu’s childbirth and parenting policies in the future.
District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong said, “I ask the newly appointed ambassadors to play a significant role in widely promoting Gangnam-gu’s policies based on their talents and capabilities demonstrated in various fields.”
