Delivery of Mutual Growth Support Funds to Over 20 Partner Companies
Hoban Group held its 35th anniversary ceremony on the 1st to reward long-term employees and reaffirm its commitment to coexistence with partner companies.
Kim Seon-gyu, Chairman of Hoban Group, is delivering a commemorative speech at the 35th anniversary ceremony of Hoban Group held at Hoban Park in Umyeon-dong on the 1st.
Hoban Group announced that it held the 35th anniversary ceremony at Hoban Park in Umyeon-dong, Seocho-gu on the 1st. The event was attended by about 200 people, including key figures such as Kim Sang-yeol, chairman of Seoul Shinmun, Woo Hyun-hee, chairman of the Hoban Cultural Foundation, Kim Seon-gyu, chairman of Hoban Group, as well as executives and partner company representatives.
Kim Seon-gyu, chairman of Hoban Group, said, "In the short period of 35 years, by upholding the founding spirit of honesty and principles, we have created opportunities for growth during times of crisis and have grown into a large corporation ranked within the top 30 in the business world."
Chairman Kim added, "Let us create new opportunities based on a corporate culture that contributes to national economic development and shares the fruits of growth with members of society. We will establish ourselves as a healthy company that dedicates itself to the nation through the economy and contributes to society."
Earlier, Hoban Group announced that to celebrate its 35th anniversary, it will expand the ‘Child-Friendly Hoban Life’ program to support a balanced life between work and family. This includes support for wedding congratulatory money, infertility treatment expenses, and prenatal travel packages. Childbirth congratulatory money will be provided from 5 million to 20 million KRW, and the parental leave period will be extended up to 2 years.
At the anniversary ceremony, 187 long-term employees (with 10 to 30 years of service) from Hoban Construction, Hoban Industry, Daehan Electric Wire, Hoban Hotel & Resort, Dae-a Cheonggwa, and others were awarded service plaques and prizes. Support funds for win-win cooperation were also delivered to representatives of about 20 partner companies.
Since 2018, Hoban Group has contributed a total of 94 billion KRW to the Win-Win Cooperation Fund to promote mutual growth with partner companies. Earlier this year, at the New Year’s event, awards and prize money were given to 42 excellent partner companies. In May, gifts such as ready meals and instant rice were provided to partner company employees for Labor Day.
