On the 27th, Daeyang Enbio, a subsidiary of Hansung Cleantec, announced that it will change its company name to ‘E&water’.
The new name, E&water, symbolically incorporates the message of providing Environment and infinite solutions (∞) into the wordmark.
The company explained that by unifying the naming with E&water Solution, a liquid waste specialized treatment company, and Eclean Water, the environmental business division aims to offer more specialized and differentiated services to customers.
Kim Hwang-rae, CEO of E&water, stated, “This name change is a declaration of preparing for a new leap as an environmental technology leading company for a sustainable future,” adding, “E&water will continue to take the lead in solving various environmental issues based on advanced technology and expertise, creating a better future through clean water and a healthy environment.”
Meanwhile, established in 1991, Daeyang Enbio is a technology-innovative facility operation (O&M) specialized company that has provided environmental facility operation services such as the operation of over 200 sewage treatment plants and incineration facilities domestically and internationally.
In April, the company received support from the Ministry of Environment for the commercialization of activated carbon for semiconductor ultrapure water, gradually expanding its business area from existing water and sewage facility operation to industrial water treatment facility operation management and materials business.
