Hankyong National University of Technology, Capacity Building Training for Nepal Vocational Training Teachers Korea University of Technology and Education announced on the 19th that it will conduct an invited training program for mid-level and higher managers from Nepal's Ministry of Education Policy and vocational training schools.

Korea University of Technology and Education announced on the 19th that it will conduct an invited training program for mid-level and higher managers from Nepal's government education policy departments and vocational training schools.


This training, part of the 'Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Nepal Vocational Training Teacher E-learning Capacity Building (2023-2025)' project, will be held over two weeks until the 29th.


The trainees include 15 individuals from Nepal's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Department of Vocational Training, Technical Teacher Training Institute, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, and the program will take place on the KOREATECH campus.


The training course aims to promote e-learning and ICT-based education in TVET and strengthen the expertise of scholarship activities. It will cover the necessity and purpose of e-learning and ICT utilization for educational development, as well as successful cases of Korea's e-learning and ICT-based educational scholarship activities.


Additionally, participants will tour the KOREATECH campus facilities and visit the Busan Korea-ASEAN ICT Convergence Village to experience Korea's advanced facilities.


Professor Cho Hyun-chan stated, "We expect this to contribute to the socioeconomic development and expansion of TVET in Nepal and to enhance the ICT utilization educational capabilities of technical teachers." He added, "We hope this training will contribute to the development of ICT and education sectors in Nepal and to establishing a continuous and friendly cooperative system between the two countries."
