The Gyeonggi Marine Safety Experience Center will participate for the first time in the '2024 International Marine & Safety Expo' opening on the 19th.


Gyeonggi Province announced on the 14th that it will participate in the '2024 International Marine & Safety Expo' held for three days from the 19th at Songdo Convensia in Incheon, operating various programs such as ▲Marine Safety Practical Experience Zone (ZONE) ▲Provision of Marine Safety Digital Education Content ▲YouTube Channel Events ▲One-on-One Customer Consultations.


The International Marine & Safety Expo is an international exhibition where the latest technologies and equipment related to the marine industry are displayed, and marine industry experts, related companies, academia, and government agencies gather to share the latest information. It has been held biennially since 2013.


Kim Bong-hyun, Director of the Marine Fisheries Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "The Marine Safety Experience Center will do its best to provide practical experiential education that can be utilized in actual marine safety accidents and crisis situations not only to residents of the province but also to the entire nation."


Last year, the Gyeonggi Marine Safety Experience Center provided survival swimming and marine safety experiential education, as well as training necessary for ship safety, marine safety, and emergency response on ships to over 67,000 people.
