The Big by Small Forum held its 15th forum event on the 7th at the Korea Press Center in Seoul, inviting Go Beom-jin, CEO of Petabrew.
In his presentation titled "Radar-Based Precision Measurement Solutions," CEO Go explained various applications of industrial sensors through the development of signal processing algorithm technology using radar. He emphasized that, with the growth of the eco-friendly market, the principles and high difficulty of non-contact precision measurement technology, and cases where these challenges were overcome, demonstrate that domestic products can sufficiently compete with foreign products.
He explained, "What is important in actual industrial sites is convenient maintenance, low cost, and customer-tailored responses, and it has been verified through various cases that many areas in the sensor field, which currently depend on overseas products, can be replaced by domestic technology."
Petabrew was founded in 2021 by CEO Go Beom-jin, who gained diverse experience as a planning and R&D manager at startups, and CEO Kwak Ho-seon, who served as a senior researcher at Samsung Electronics and Hanwha. The company possesses FMCW signal processing algorithm technology using radar and develops various intelligent sensor designs and communication modules, providing them to corporate clients.
Petabrew has been selected for various government support projects, including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' Didimdol Project, the National IT Industry Promotion Agency's Artificial Intelligence (AI) Voucher Support Project, and the Incheon Economic Promotion Agency's Internet of Things (IoT) Demonstration Support Project. Recently, it also succeeded in securing seed investment through Hanyang University Technology Holdings.
