On the 5th, Seo-gu District Office in Gwangju Metropolitan City conducted a drunk driving prevention education session for all employees at the Deulbul Hall of Seo-gu Office.
According to Seo-gu on that day, this education was promoted to raise awareness among employees regarding drunk driving, which has recently emerged as a social issue, and to establish public service discipline.

The session was led by Park Jeong-ho, the Seo-gu Audit Officer and former police officer, who lectured on drunk driving cases based on practical experience and the strengthened drunk driving punishment standards.
In particular, along with theoretical education, employees wore special goggles to virtually experience drunk driving, allowing them to directly feel the dangers of drinking and driving.
Education on new cyber crimes such as digital sex crimes and phishing, as well as prevention of power harassment, prohibition of improper solicitation, and bribery was also conducted.
Audit Officer Park Jeong-ho stated, “Drunk driving damages the dignity of public officials, betrays the trust of residents, and is a serious crime that can take innocent lives and property. I hope all employees take the lead in eradicating drunk driving and actively participate so that a clean and trustworthy Seo-gu can be realized.”
