"Timely Evaluation for Future-Oriented Development"

The Korea International Trade Association (KITA) expressed on the 27th that it "greatly welcomes the activation of regional investment and the strengthening of the foundation for expanding technological cooperation and mutual trade" following the announcement of the joint declaration at the Korea-Japan-China summit.

KITA stated, "At a time when the need for cooperation for regional joint development has become greater than ever due to rapidly changing global political and economic environments such as the restructuring of global supply chains, deepening uncertainties in the trade environment, and instability in major countries," "this trilateral summit is evaluated as very timely in reaffirming the trust and mutual cooperation will of the three countries and for future-oriented development."

It added, "In particular, the outcomes of this summit, including the declaration to regularize the 'Korea-Japan-China Summit,' acceleration of the trilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA), strengthening of supply chain cooperation, and trilateral intellectual property cooperation, as well as efforts to expand industrial exchanges and mutual investment, are expected to promote the joint prosperity of the three countries and contribute greatly to mutual development by leading to the stabilization of security in Northeast Asia."

KITA stated, "We will create cooperation models in various fields so that the cooperation measures announced in today's joint declaration can be concretized, expanding exchanges among businesspeople of the three countries and strengthening cooperation for future generations." It also emphasized, "We will strive to achieve tangible results such as expanding joint ventures into third countries."
