Seocheon County in Chungnam announced that it will listen to residents' opinions regarding the establishment of the 'Seocheon Culture and Tourism Foundation.'

The county is promoting the establishment of the Culture and Tourism Foundation to ensure continuity in cultural and tourism policies and to support residents' cultural activities and festivals.

Starting from the 23rd, the county will collect residents' opinions for 15 days through the county office website.

Earlier, in June of last year, after consulting with Chungnam Province about the foundation's establishment, the county commissioned Chungnam Research Institute to conduct a feasibility study.

The county expects that the foundation's establishment will provide driving force to position Seocheon as a cultural and tourism city by △ securing continuity and expertise in cultural and tourism policies △ expanding opportunities for residents to enjoy culture △ integrated operation of cultural facilities.
