Sangmyung University Korean Language and Culture Institute Provides Korean Language Education for Foreign Workers

The Korean Language and Culture Center at Sangmyung University announced on the 21st that it has been selected as a hub institution for the Ministry of Justice's industry-site-oriented social integration program.

The hub institution supports Korean language education for foreign workers employed in domestic industries. In particular, professional instructors visit industrial sites directly to provide education tailored to the workplace and local culture.

The Korean Language and Culture Center plans to conduct Korean language education at Fine Solution Co., Ltd., located in Asan, Chungnam, until August.

Director Jeon Jeong-mi stated, "Efforts to support foreign workers in settling in the region are essential for the economic development and revitalization of the Chungnam area," adding, "Through Korean language education specialized for industrial sites, we aim to help foreign workers coexist and thrive with the local community."
