The Chicken University Good Donation program began in 2000, when the country's first franchise specialized educational institution, Chicken University, was established. This activity involves prospective family members (franchisees) who receive training before opening their stores donating the chicken they prepare to nearby welfare facilities.

In just last month, BBQ delivered more than 1,500 chickens over 10 occasions to child, disabled, and elderly welfare facilities located in Icheon through the Korean Red Cross, group homes, Goodwill Store, and Seongaewon. Since January this year, the Chicken University Good Donation has been carried out 44 times in total, and the donated chicken is valued at over 90 million KRW.

A BBQ representative stated, "As more neighbors are going through difficult times due to sustained high prices, we are leading the donation culture to provide a healthy and warm meal and to coexist with the local community."
