Cooking Contest Using 'Ottogi Curry' Held at Seoul Land
Ottogi held a family cooking competition themed around Ottogi Curry, the product celebrating its 55th anniversary. The Ottogi Sweet Home Family Cooking Festival is the largest cooking festival in Korea, with a total of approximately 3,500 families and 12,900 participants to date.
Ottogi celebrated its 55th anniversary on the 11th by hosting the 27th Ottogi Sweet Home Family Cooking Festival at Seoul Land.
This event was held to commemorate Ottogi's 55th anniversary, focusing on the founding product, 'Ottogi Curry.' A total of 100 teams participated, showcasing creative curry dishes. Before the competition, a representative of the participants donated a total of 6 million KRW to the Korea Heart Foundation, combining the entry fees and Ottogi's contribution. The donation will be used to support surgery costs for children with congenital heart disease.
This year's 'Ottogi Award' was awarded to the Yoon Jeong-hoon family for their presentation titled 'The Story of the Three Legends of the Beginning,' receiving a trophy and electronic product gift certificates worth 5 million KRW. Two teams that won the 'Sweet Home Award' each received electronic product gift certificates worth 2 million KRW, and three teams awarded the 'Yellow Award' each received gift certificates worth 1 million KRW. Five teams that received the 'Special Award' were given Ottogi Mall points worth 100,000 KRW each. Additionally, a lucky draw awarded a Hong Kong travel voucher worth 3 million KRW. Besides the cooking competition, Ottogi also offered food trucks and event zones for general visitors at Seoul Land to enjoy.
An Ottogi representative stated, "The cooking competition held to celebrate the 55th anniversary with the theme of our founding product, 'Ottogi Curry,' concluded successfully with enthusiastic responses from participating families. We will continue to create opportunities that foster harmony and unity among families."
