The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 2nd that the Global Leadership Training Institute is starting anew by establishing a leadership training system specialized for small and medium enterprises. The Global Leadership Training Institute of the Small and Medium Business Corporation is a public leadership training institution located in Taebaek City, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, and has trained over 20,000 leaders of small and medium enterprises since its opening in 2014.

The newly established leadership training system by the Global Leadership Training Institute focuses on ▲global leadership competency foundation ▲specialization for small and medium enterprises ▲connection with Taebaek's natural environment. Based on this, this year's job training is structured as courses to develop leadership at different levels, including CEOs, middle managers, and practitioners. All courses can be operated as customized training reflecting the needs of each company. Some parts of the training courses are specialized programs incorporating Taebaek's natural environment and are conducted exclusively at the Global Leadership Training Institute.

In particular, the "Improving Work Performance through Mindfulness" training is a self-leadership course newly established this year reflecting the new leadership training system. It consists of stress management through self-reflection and providing guidance to improve work performance.

Choi Eun-kyung, Director of the Global Leadership Training Institute, said, "Starting this year, we plan to provide result reports to participating companies so that they can visibly confirm the training outcomes," and added, "We will take the lead in nurturing leaders equipped with global standard leadership competencies based on the new training system."
