"14 Technology Companies Selected to Lead Future Mobility Technologies"

The International Electric Vehicle Expo Corporation announced that it has selected 14 companies, including DSI, as recipients of the newly established e-Mobility Innovation Technology Award this year. The award ceremony will be held at the 11th International e-Mobility Expo World EV Association (GEAN) General Assembly on the 30th.


This award was established to encourage companies and individuals who have led and contributed to the development of the future mobility and energy industries. Among the approximately 300 companies participating in this event, the organizers explained that companies were selected in various fields such as robotics, autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, urban air mobility, electric ships, and green hydrogen, leading the latest issues.


Park Seong-chan, chairman of the Innovation Technology Award judging panel, said, "We will evaluate not only technological and design innovation but also business feasibility to discover e-mobility innovation technologies that will lead future industries and create opportunities to enhance technological completeness." He added, "We expect this event to serve as a stepping stone for market development and enable substantial business expansion."


The e-Corner Module by Seohan Innovility Co., Ltd., which integrates steering, suspension, braking, and driving functions for electric vehicles into a single wheel, and the agricultural electric transport vehicle Agrebe21 developed by Hyeongje Partner Co., Ltd., which facilitates convenient transport of crops and farming equipment, received awards in the EV category.


"14 Technology Companies Selected to Lead Future Mobility Technologies" Hanwha Aerospace researchers are inspecting a high-safety immersion-type battery system for ships that can fundamentally prevent fire. The immersion-type battery system is the world's first to commercialize an insulated immersion cooling method for ship energy storage systems (ESS), implementing differentiated technology in terms of fire safety, cooling efficiency, output, and lifespan.

In the ship, UAM, and drone categories, DSI’s small jet engine, Mastervolt Korea Co., Ltd.’s eco-friendly hybrid propulsion system for ships, and Jeju Marine Tech Co., Ltd.’s eco-friendly electric ship were awarded. In the battery and charger category, technologies from Inomotive Co., Ltd., Hanwha Aerospace, Kanevi Mobility Co., Ltd., and Yukon Creative Co., Ltd. were recognized.


Nearslab Co., Ltd. and SPG Korea Co., Ltd. received innovation technology awards in the autonomous driving, AI, robotics, and software categories. In the hydrogen and renewable energy category, H Energy Co., Ltd.’s power plant customized subscription service technology and Parity Liquid Hydrogen Co., Ltd.’s hydrogen fuel cell drone technology were selected. In the electric vehicle accessories category, EV Link Co., Ltd.’s rapid and precise electric vehicle battery diagnostic solution was chosen.


Kim Dae-hwan, director of the International e-Mobility Expo, said, "The mobility technologies discovered this time represent innovation in future value and will improve not only South Korea’s economic growth but also the quality of life for its citizens." He added, "We hope the award-winning companies will further complete their future technologies and develop them into brands, with the Expo serving as a practical partner to lead the market and grow into global unicorn companies."
