Held at Children's Culture Center and iSinna Playground
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will hold Children's Day commemorative events over two days, from May 4 to 5, at the Hwaseong City Children's Culture Center and Hwaseong City i Sinnan Playground.
The Hwaseong City Children's Culture Center will host a cultural arts festival called 'Everyone Smile,' where children and their guardians can experience interaction through art.
At the event, the program 'Unfold! Moments of Art' will be held, allowing participants to express their own creations with artists. The 'Finding Hidden Hearts' program includes a planned exhibition viewing and creative activities with artist Kim Ji-young.
The 'Gather! With Parents' program will reorganize 16 spaces within the center from existing class-type experiences into open experiences that guardians and children can freely enjoy together. Additionally, the Ainuri Theater inside the center will present a children's magic show titled 'Enjoy! Magic Performance.'
Hwaseong City i Sinnan Playground will operate 14 experience booths over two days, themed around science experiments and risk-taking play, including rubber-powered car making, volcano eruption creation, baseball games, and target archery.
Those wishing to participate in the event can make a reservation in advance through the 'Hwaseong City Integrated Reservation System.'
Shin Hyun-joo, Director of Welfare at Hwaseong City, said, "We will continue to operate various cultural welfare education programs and special events that allow children to think creatively and express themselves."
