GH Acquires 500 Contract-Type Rental Housing Units... Applications Accepted from May 20

Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) will begin purchasing approximately 500 contract-type rental housing units this year.

Contract-type rental housing refers to homes where GH participates from the design stage to ensure excellent design and construction quality by verifying whether the construction meets the design standards set by GH, and conducts quality inspections and management at each project stage during construction.

GH will accept applications for contract-type rental housing at its headquarters in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, from May 20 to June 10 this year.

GH has adjusted the purchase target this year from houses approved before 2023 to houses planned for construction before the 2024 construction commencement report. Additionally, a new step-by-step inspection procedure to strengthen design and structural stability has been introduced, and for the first time, housing purchases for newlywed couples will be promoted.

After comprehensively reviewing location conditions such as public transportation accessibility and housing plans for living convenience, the final contract purchase housing will be selected through a purchase review scheduled for July.

Kim Seyong, President of GH, stated, "We will continue to supply newly built contract-type rental housing to alleviate the housing cost burden for low-income groups, youth, and newlywed couples in Gyeonggi Province, enabling them to live in high-quality rental homes."
