Manbong Reservoir, along with Najuho and Baekyongje, is one of the largest reservoirs supplying agricultural water to 153 hectares of farmland in Bonghwang-myeon, Naju-si.

Currently, the water storage rate of Najuho is 80.5%, Manbong Reservoir is 99.6%, and the average storage rate of reservoirs managed by the Naju Branch is 81.8%, so it is expected that there will be no problems in supplying agricultural water throughout this year.

Branch Manager Kang Su-jin said, “We will do our best to supply agricultural water in the right amount and at the right time so that farmers, our main customers, can produce safe food without any difficulties, and we will also make every effort to prevent safety accidents during the supply of agricultural water.”

Meanwhile, starting from the 16th of next month, the Naju Branch will begin full-scale agricultural water supply by utilizing 160 reservoirs and pumping stations, beginning with the main water release of Najuho.
