Dongdaemun-gu Holds Meeting with Maintenance Project Implementers and Resident Representatives

Establishing an Organic Cooperation System Between District ? Maintenance Project Implementers and Resident Representatives

Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Ilpyeong Lee) held a meeting on the 18th with redevelopment project implementers and resident representatives.

Now in its third year, the meeting has played a significant role in overcoming communication gaps and establishing an organic cooperation system through the previous two gatherings.

At the meeting held at the Dongdaemun-gu Office, a total of 31 participants, including Mayor Ilpyeong Lee, union heads, promotion committee chairs, and project implementers, listened to each other's difficulties encountered during the redevelopment project process and discussed ways to resolve them.

They also reviewed amendments to laws and ordinances related to urban redevelopment and shared opinions while explaining key initiatives of the district, such as ▲ changes in the operation method of the estimated contribution verification committee ▲ strengthening quality and safety management inspections ▲ operating outreach redevelopment project briefings.

Mayor Ilpyeong Lee of Dongdaemun-gu said, “Redevelopment projects face various challenges at each stage, but I ask everyone gathered here today to work together to resolve them quickly and wisely,” adding, “Dongdaemun-gu will also actively support the promotion of redevelopment projects that satisfy everyone.”
