Shinsegae Centum City and Busan Dongbu Branch of Ministry of Employment and Labor Sign 'Safety Culture Promotion MOU'

Shinsegae Centum City signed a 'Safety Culture Expansion Business Agreement' with the Busan Eastern Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor on the 17th.

This business agreement was carried out as part of the nationwide safety culture campaign according to the 'Serious Accident Reduction Roadmap' to create safety culture practices that resonate with the public.


Under this agreement, the Busan Eastern Branch will support campaigns and education for industrial accident prevention and safety culture practice, while Shinsegae Centum City will actively promote activities such as spreading safety culture messages.


Accordingly, banners and signboards will be installed along major routes used by customers and employees, and various promotional activities will be conducted to help spread the safety culture.


Park Soon-min, Executive Director and Store Manager of Shinsegae Centum City, said, “This business agreement, as part of ESG management, will serve as an opportunity to raise awareness of safety among department store workers, including partner companies, to a higher level,” adding, “We will faithfully implement the government’s safety and health policies and do our best to expand the safety culture.”
