Implementation of Public Management System from This Year... Bucheon City to Hold Bus Driver Recruitment Briefing on the 24th

Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province will hold a recruitment briefing session for city bus drivers at the '2024 Bucheon Job Fair' to be held at Chunui Station on the 24th.

This event is in response to the increased demand for hiring transportation workers following the implementation of the Gyeonggi-do public management system for city buses in January, and it is Bucheon City's first recruitment briefing session for transportation workers.

Through the briefing session, the city plans to provide detailed information about the preparation process for transportation workers to job seekers, and offer opportunities for recruitment consultations and interviews with local city bus transportation companies.

Job seekers aged 20 and over can be hired after obtaining a Class 1 large vehicle license and bus driving qualifications, receiving a recommendation from a contracted transportation company, and completing bus driver training. Trainees will be supported with training fees, license acquisition fees, living expenses, and shuttle bus services.

The contracted transportation companies in the region include Dowon Transportation, Seonggwang Transportation, Bu-il Transportation, Cheongwoo Transportation, Soshin Passenger Automobile, Bucheon Bus, and Seongil Transportation, totaling seven companies. The city bus companies participating in this event will conduct one-on-one consultations and interviews with job seekers.

In particular, an education officer from the Korea Transportation Safety Authority Hwaseong Education Center will attend this recruitment briefing session to provide consulting on the transportation worker training program.
