Ulju-gun, New Recruitment of Affordable Price Businesses This Year

Ulsan Ulju-gun will begin recruiting new "2024 Good Price Businesses" from the 15th to the 26th of this month.

Good Price Businesses are establishments that contribute to stabilizing local prices by offering reasonable prices lower than the regional average and excellent services to consumers. They are designated by local governments according to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's standards, considering factors such as price, hygiene, cleanliness, and public interest.

The recruitment targets are individual service businesses closely related to everyday life, such as restaurants, beauty salons, and laundries, where two or more main menu items are priced lower than the regional average. Franchise businesses are excluded.

Once designated as a Good Price Business, various benefits are provided, including promotion on the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Ulju-gun websites, certification plaques, and various incentive goods.

Applications can be submitted in person or by mail to the Ulju-gun Regional Economy Division along with the application form and a copy of the business registration certificate. For more details, refer to the announcement on the Ulju-gun website or contact the Ulju-gun Regional Economy Division.

Currently, Ulju-gun manages a total of 28 Good Price Businesses in sectors such as dining, beauty salons, and laundries. Along with this new recruitment, a comprehensive review will be conducted to evaluate existing businesses' efforts to stabilize prices and maintain hygiene, deciding on re-designation or cancellation of designation.

An Ulju-gun official stated, "We hope for active participation from Good Price Businesses that contribute to price stabilization by offering affordable prices and excellent services despite the stagnant commercial district economy," and added, "We will work to revitalize these businesses by preparing plans to expand support for Good Price Businesses."
