NEW, Punderful Collaborates on Film and Drama Funding Investment

Business Agreement to Promote Content Investment 활성화

Content Media Group NEW announced on the 2nd that it has signed a business agreement with cultural content financial service company Funderful to promote content investment. They will collaborate on new film and drama funding investments, product sales and securitization using intellectual property (IP) libraries, development of online marketing channels, and token securities offering (STO) securitization based on IP assets.

They plan to expand the investor pool beyond institutions and funds, and build an innovative content business ecosystem through high value-added cultural product planning. A new film investment product will be launched soon, followed by a public offering to general investors.

Kim Jaemin, head of NEW’s film business division, stated, "We hope this collaboration will contribute to establishing a virtuous cycle that not only activates investment in cultural products but also leads to the production of competitive content." Yoon Sungwook, CEO of Funderful, said, "We will build a new cultural content ecosystem where both content providers and users can benefit."

NEW has presented numerous hit works such as the film Milsoo and dramas Moving and Doctor Cha Jeongsuk. Funderful is the only company in Korea providing investment and marketing services for cultural content. It has extensive experience across various fields including film, exhibitions, performances, and dramas.
