Gyeonggi Office of Education Signs Agreement with Gyeonggi Central District Bar Association to Provide Legal Support for School Staff

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has partnered with the Gyeonggi Central District Bar Association to provide legal support for its staff.


On the 1st, the Office of Education announced that it signed a legal support agreement with the Gyeonggi Central District Bar Association at the Suwon Southern Government Complex to assist in appointing personal legal representatives during investigations and lawsuits related to child abuse and infringement of educational activities.


According to the agreement, the two organizations will cooperate in various areas including ▲exchange of opinions and information ▲joint planning and promotion of projects with the same objectives ▲personnel exchange and support as needed ▲promotion of various projects and mutual cooperation.

In particular, in cases of legal disputes arising during legitimate educational activities and job performance, they will also promote legal consultations based on case acceptance, set maximum limits on legal fees, and provide specialized legal training.


Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Education, said, "Recently, many issues in the educational field have become legal problems. Whenever issues arise, close cooperation will help establish good practices and create a better educational environment."


Meanwhile, the Office of Education plans to sign a business agreement with the Gyeonggi Northern District Bar Association on the 8th to support legal issues of staff in the northern region.
