National Pukyong University (President Jang Young-su), famous as a cherry blossom spot in the Busan area, held the cherry blossom festival 'Pink Campus' for three days from the 27th to the 28th and the 1st around Baekgyeong Square and the Lawn Square.

This year, marking the 100th anniversary of its founding, National Pukyong University organized the Pink Campus festival under the theme "A Spring Day of 100 Years, Blooming at Pukyong University," hosted by the student council, and held various events such as experiences, performances, and contests for students and local residents.

Pukyong University is known as a "university with beautiful cherry blossoms" and a "Busan cherry blossom hotspot," with about 500 cherry trees along the roads on the Daeyeon Campus and about 350 on the Yongdang Campus, creating a spectacular view of abundant cherry blossoms every year.

On the 27th, National Pukyong University operated a photo zone at Baekgyeong Square, along with a hanbok rental event and an SNS photo contest. To celebrate the 100th anniversary, a 100-won coffee event was held in collaboration with the cooperative, and a slow post office event was conducted where participants wrote postcards to themselves for 100 won, which would be returned during the autumn festival. The 100-won postcard fee was donated to the university celebrating its centennial.

On the 28th, a guest singer performance was held at the university theater, and on the 1st, cultural street events were held on the Lawn Square with booths operated by each department and office, along with club performances, photo zones, and various other events.

Since 2014, National Pukyong University has held the cherry blossom festival 'Pink Campus,' and this year, celebrating its 100th anniversary, plans to expand the festival and promote various events for its members and local residents.
