Distribution of Booklets at Community Centers and Health Centers and E-book Provision on Eunpyeong-gu Office Website
Includes 119 Various Information from Childbirth to Childcare Categorized by Life Cycle and Field
Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that it has created a "Childbirth and Childcare Guidebook," which organizes welfare benefits related to childbirth and childcare in an easy-to-understand format, and will provide it as both a booklet and an e-book.
The "Childbirth and Childcare Guidebook" is a guide that clearly organizes the project information promoted by Eunpyeong-gu to respond to the low birthrate issue and provide customized welfare support according to life cycles.
The guidebook provides welfare information by project, divided into six main categories and an appendix: ▲Pregnant Women and Infant Health Management ▲Childcare and Care Support ▲Parent Education ▲Festival and Play Support ▲Support for Families with Multiple Children ▲Other Areas. The appendix contains information on various local facilities such as parks, playgrounds, libraries, family centers, daycare centers, and neighborhood care centers.
Eunpyeong-gu’s childbirth and childcare-related projects include ▲First Meeting Voucher Support ▲Operation of I-Mom Taxi ▲Operation of Community Childcare Sharing Centers ▲Seoul-style Housekeeping Service Support ▲Childcare Support Project ▲Child Allowance and Parental Benefits Payment ▲Infertile Couple Support ▲Seoul-style Postpartum Care Expense Support ▲Seoul Baby Health First Steps, among various other projects.
In particular, on the back of the guidebook, there is a QR code for Eunpyeong’s life-cycle customized welfare services. By scanning the QR code with a mobile phone, users can easily check welfare service information divided into 20 interest topics by life cycle.
The guidebook is provided to residents who register births at the community service centers or pregnant women visiting health centers. Visiting nurses will also personally distribute it to eligible participants of the Seoul Baby Health First Steps project.
This year, it has been especially produced as an e-book as well, allowing anyone to conveniently view it in the administrative data room on the Eunpyeong-gu Office website.
Kim Mi-kyung, Mayor of Eunpyeong-gu, said, “We hope that by providing various childbirth and childcare project information promoted by the district to many residents, everyone can fully enjoy the welfare benefits in response to the low birthrate social issue.”
