Support for Ryu Sam-yeong's 4th Dongjak-gu Visit
Lee Visits Alma Mater Chung-Ang University, Shouts "Loyal Chung-Ang People"
Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, visited his alma mater Chung-Ang University on the 26th and conducted an on-site campaign with candidate Ryu Sam-young from Seoul Dongjak-gu Eul. This surprise visit came after attending the 'Daejang-dong trial' in the morning, marking his fourth time supporting candidate Ryu.
In the afternoon, Lee Jae-myung and candidate Ryu Sam-young visited Chung-Ang University located in Heukseok-dong, Dongjak-gu, Seoul. Lee said, "I understand that university students have distrust in politics, but you must choose the lesser evil," adding, "Politics may seem like someone else's business, but it determines how the resources and opportunities of this society are distributed." He continued, "If you think the Yoon Seok-yeol administration has operated this society fairly over the past two years, support it. But if you believe it has endangered our lives, then participate on April 10," and added, "If you turn away because you dislike it, you are defending the existing system."

Lee Jae-myung emphasized that he is a Chung-Ang University alumnus and strongly appealed for support from fellow alumni. He said, "I am Lee Jae-myung, class of '82, who studied for four years at the College of Law here," and added, "I hope the righteous Chung-Ang University juniors, the blood of Chung-Ang, will walk the path that their senior Lee Jae-myung took." He continued, "Proud Chung-Ang University juniors of Lee Jae-myung, be proud," and repeatedly emphasized, "If you take an interest in politics, the power of the world will work for you."
He especially stressed the future generation and encouraged voting again. Lee said, "The reason the current young generation is having a harder time than when Lee Jae-myung lived 40 years ago is not because there are fewer opportunities, but because someone monopolized them," pointing out, "If the current situation continues, no matter how hard you study and develop your skills, the number of jobs available to work will decrease." He then emphasized, "It is important to study hard and earn money, but more important is to create a fair world, a world with opportunities, and a world with hope for the future."
After visiting Chung-Ang University, Lee toured the Noryangjin-dong area in Dongjak-gu Gap district, Seoul. He plans to visit the Gangdong-gu area sequentially as well.
