August 'Lexus Masters' Signing Ceremony Held
Total Prize Money 1 Billion KRW, Tournament Golf Course to Be Confirmed Later

Lexus Korea is sponsoring the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA).

On the 21st, KPGA announced on the 22nd that it held a signing ceremony for the new 2024 season KPGA Tour tournament, the 'Lexus Masters,' at the Lexus Gangnam showroom in Seoul. The event was attended by Manabu Konyama, President of Lexus Korea, Kim Won-seop, Chairman of KPGA, and other officials.


The Lexus Masters has a total prize money of 1 billion KRW. Starting today, August 29, it will be held in a 4-round, 72-hole stroke play format. The tournament venue and field size will be confirmed later. President Konyama said, "Lexus, which pursues craftsmanship, and KPGA Tour players who constantly strive for golf share a common desire to become the best in their field," adding, "We will support KPGA Tour players so they can fully demonstrate their skills at the Lexus Masters."


Chairman Kim Won-seop said, "I sincerely thank Lexus Korea for supporting the KPGA Tour and participating as the new title sponsor," and added, "We will make thorough preparations to ensure the Lexus Masters is successfully held." The Lexus Masters will be broadcast live on SBS Golf 2.


Lexus Korea continues to introduce electrified models that meet various customer needs, including hybrid (HEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and battery electric vehicles (BEV), under the 'Multi Pathway' strategy for carbon neutrality. In Consumer Insight's 2023 annual automotive survey, it ranked first in after-sales service (AS) satisfaction for five consecutive years.
