Korean startup MuseLive (CEO Seok Cheol) announced the successful conclusion of ‘South by Southwest (SXSW) 2024’ held in Austin, Texas, USA.
MuseLive has participated in SXSW for three consecutive years since 2022 to promote its proprietary U-NFC technology-based product, ‘KiT,’ to the global market. In particular, at the ‘Creative Industries Expo,’ a venue showcasing creative technologies in media and IT fields, MuseLive introduced the ‘KiTalbum,’ attracting the attention of musicians and music industry professionals worldwide. This year, the booth operation focused on promoting the brand ‘KiTbetter,’ which encompasses all services and products, and the easy and fast KiTalbum release service ‘KiTstudio’ to the global market, receiving high praise on-site.
The showcase collaboration with ‘SPIN’ and ‘COLLiDE’ was also successfully completed. On March 13 local time, at ‘EMO’S AUSTIN,’ where ‘Gary Clark Jr.’ performed, and at ‘Lustre Pearl Rainey,’ where the showcase with ‘COLLiDE’ was held, KiTalbums were distributed and demonstrated directly, facilitating direct meetings with music industry professionals and fans visiting the venue. The promotional KiTalbums prepared were all sold out within just three hours, receiving enthusiastic responses.
In particular, the MuseLive representative stated that the ‘KiTstudio’ booth drew continuous admiration for producing a KiTalbum containing one’s own music in just five minutes.
MuseLive COO Gil Seong-bae said, “Since 2022, we have operated our own booth to promote KiTalbums and our services at SXSW, the greatest festival in the music industry. This year at SXSW 2024, it was surprising to see many musicians and industry professionals already familiar with KiTalbums,” adding, “It was a meaningful time not only to operate a booth but also to create ongoing connections through collaborations with local companies, following CES 2024.”
Having confirmed positive responses in the global market, MuseLive plans to continue releasing music from musicians with diverse musical spectrums as KiTalbums.
