Trump: "If I lose, it will be a bloodbath... Immigrants are not human" Controversial Remarks

Attacking Biden as a "Stupid President"
Threat of 100% Tariff Bomb on Mexican-Made Chinese Cars

Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate and former president, disparaged immigrants as "animals" and used the expression "blood bath" on the 16th (local time), unleashing a barrage of offensive remarks.

On that day, at a campaign rally for Republican Senate candidate Bernie Moreno held in Vandalia, Ohio, former President Trump said, "If I am not elected, it will be a blood bath for everyone. The country will be a blood bath," and added, "If I do not win the presidential election, I don't think there will be another election," according to local media such as The New York Times (NYT) and CNN.

Former President Trump urged the promotion of automobile production within the United States and promised to impose tariffs on foreign cars. He stated that he would impose a 100% tariff on cars produced by Chinese companies in Mexico. Targeting Chinese President Xi Jinping, he claimed, "You are building huge monster car factories in Mexico," and insisted, "If you do not hire Americans, you will not be able to sell cars to us."

Former President Trump repeatedly attacked immigrants during his speech. He said that other countries are sending young people who were in prison outside the border, and stated, "You might call them 'people' in some cases, but in my opinion, they are not people."

Trump even used the term "animals" to describe young immigrants. Regarding this, the NYT criticized former President Trump for using dehumanizing language to describe immigrants, saying he continued with "insults and vulgarity" toward them.

Former President Trump also reiterated his claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him. Referring to those serving sentences related to the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot as "hostages" and "incredibly patriotic," he praised them. Trump has claimed that the 2020 election was rigged and is currently indicted on charges including election denial, interference with vote counting, and incitement of the January 6 Capitol riot.

Former President Trump also repeatedly called his presidential rival, President Joe Biden, a "stupid" president.

Although former President Trump has generally led President Biden in presidential polls so far, recent trends show a close race. According to a poll conducted by Ipsos from the 7th to the 13th, reported by foreign media, President Biden recorded 39% support, while former President Trump had 38% support (margin of error ±1.7 percentage points).
