This event will feature 141 elite athletes from both domestic and international backgrounds, along with 18,000 participants in the full marathon course and 20,000 in the 10 km course, running through major roads in the city center.

Accordingly, the Sejong-daero section, the gathering and starting point for the full marathon course, will be closed to traffic from 5:30 AM to 9:00 AM on the 17th; downtown roads including Euljiro, Cheonggyecheon-ro, and Jongno will be restricted from 7:50 AM to 11:11 AM; and the sections around Sinseol-dong Station, Gunja Station, Jamsil Bridge, and Jamsil Sports Complex will be closed from 8:59 AM to 1:30 PM.

Additionally, the 10 km course starts at Jamsil Sports Complex, turns back at the Garak Market Station intersection, and returns to Jamsil Sports Complex, with traffic restrictions from 7:55 AM to 10:30 AM.

To address traffic congestion and inconvenience to citizens, the police will deploy 1,539 personnel including traffic officers on the day, focusing on guiding vehicle detours and ensuring smooth traffic flow. Furthermore, 1,255 guide signs will be installed around the restricted areas, and the Seoul city government will temporarily adjust bus routes within the sections.

A police official stated, "We ask citizens traveling near the marathon course to use public transportation such as the subway, and request that vehicles operating within the restricted areas follow long-distance detours and the hand signals of traffic officers carefully."

Detailed traffic information during the event hours can be checked through the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency traffic information hotline, the Comprehensive Traffic Information Center website, and KakaoTalk's 'Seoul Police Traffic Information' channel.
