Changwon City Council's Sahwa and Daesang Park Investigation Special Committee Extends Activities Until June

Witness Accusation, Fine Imposition, and Related Investigation Request

The Special Committee for Administrative Investigation on the Private Park Special Project for Sahwa and Daesang Parks of Changwon Special City Council in Gyeongnam has been extended until June.

On the 13th, the city council held the 4th plenary session of the 132nd extraordinary meeting and decided to extend the activity period of the special committee for administrative investigation by three months to proceed with the verification service of the total project cost for Sahwa and Daesang Parks.

Along with this, the committee also resolved to prosecute one witness who committed perjury during the investigation and to impose a fine on one of the seven witnesses who failed to appear.

It was also decided to request an investigation by law enforcement agencies regarding violations of the Park and Greenery Act related to the land donation ratio.

With the passage of the extension plan, the special committee, which started last December and was scheduled to end on the 31st of this month, will now continue its activities until June 30.
