SK Bioscience Completes Final Piece of '6-Headquarters System'... Appoints Kim Hyun-chul as Head of Quality Headquarters

SK Bioscience is accelerating its preparations for global expansion by consecutively recruiting quality field experts as new executives.

On the 11th, SK Bioscience announced that it has newly recruited Kim Hyun-chul, Head of Quality Division (Vice President), and Park Jae-ha, Head of Quality Assurance (QA) Office, both formerly of Hanmi Pharmaceutical.

Newly appointed Head of Quality Division Kim has accumulated 28 years of expertise in quality and manufacturing management, working at LG Chem Life Sciences Division and Hanmi Pharmaceutical, gaining comprehensive know-how in pharmaceutical quality management. He majored in Chemistry at Hanyang University and earned a master's degree in Biomedical Science and Management Convergence from Chungbuk National University.

Newly appointed Head of QA Office Park worked as a Senior Manager in the Global Quality Organization at Janssen, a global big pharma, and served as Head of Quality at STGen Bio under Dong-A Socio Holdings Group. He graduated from Hanyang University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and obtained a master's degree from the same university.

In particular, with the recruitment of Head Kim, SK Bioscience explained that it has completed the transition to a division-level responsible management system implemented last December. SK Bioscience reorganized its organization into six divisions to perform specialized functions by division and to fully activate growth strategies, including the Quality Division, Business Development (BD) Division, Bio Research Division, Development Division, L House Factory, and Management Support Division.

With the recruitment of Head Kim, who fills the last vacant position of Head of Quality Division, all positions have now been filled. Head Kim will lead the QA Office, Quality Excellence (QE) Office, and Quality Assurance (QA) Office together.
