The Bareuge Salgi Movement Changwon City Council Holds 6th President Inauguration and Farewell Ceremony

The Barugesalgi Movement Changwon City Council held the inauguration and retirement ceremony for the 6th council president on the 5th at the Saemaeul Hall in Changwon City, attended by Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, presidents of city and district councils, and about 60 members.

The Changwon City Council of the Barun Living Movement held the 6th President Inauguration and Retirement Ceremony.

At the ceremony, Yoon Yeobeom, the sole candidate, was inaugurated as the 6th president of the Barugesalgi Movement Changwon City Council, succeeding outgoing president Heo Sangsoo.

President Heo, who led the council with dedication, said in his farewell speech, "I was able to serve as president thanks to the members who worked hard for the citizens and the development of the local community," and added, "I hope that under the leadership of newly inaugurated President Yoon Yeobeom, with his drive and strong family spirit, the council will become the best in name and reality."

Newly appointed President Yoon stated in his inauguration speech, "I feel a heavy responsibility as much as I am happy, and I will do my best to contribute to regional development as a representative volunteer organization of the local community," and added, "I also thank all the members who support us by participating in meaningful volunteer work and standing with neighbors in need."

Mayor Hong said, "I express my respect and gratitude to the members who have enthusiastically worked to create a society where neighbors can harmonize through volunteerism and a spirit of sacrifice. I ask you to once again reflect on the three virtues of the Barugesalgi Movement organization?truth, order, and harmony?and become pioneers leading the development of Changwon Special City in the local community."
