The Department of Fire Safety Management at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) signed a fire safety education business agreement on the 26th with the Busanjin-gu Volunteer Center and the Busanjin-gu branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association to carry out the disaster 'Zero' project, "Creating Safe Senior Centers."

At the signing ceremony, key representatives from each organization attended, including Professor Byun Tae-young from Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, Ahn Nam-yeon, head of the Busanjin-gu branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association, and Kim Hyang-mi, director of the Busanjin-gu Volunteer Center.
Through this agreement, the organizations pledged to work together to enhance disaster response capabilities at senior centers and foster a safe senior center culture, thereby raising safety awareness within the local community.
The agreement includes exchanging human and material resources to establish a cooperative relationship for mutual development through ▲ linking volunteer programs and volunteers ▲ conducting fire safety-related education ▲ providing opportunities for field training.
Professor Byun Tae-young of the Department of Fire Safety Management stated, “Through this agreement ceremony, the Department of Fire Safety Management at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology will support education, on-site visits, and safety inspections targeting elderly people at senior centers.”
