Dong-Eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Young-do) held a preparatory college program for new students of the early employment contract departments over two days from the 16th to the 17th at Gyeongju Hanwha Resort.
Dong-Eui Science College conducted a preliminary college program for early employment contract departments targeting new students.
Dong-Eui Institute of Technology was selected in 2021 for the "Early Employment Contract Department Leading Specialized College Development Project" organized by the Ministry of Education and the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), welcoming its first new students in 2022. This year, in 2024, it recruited new students in three departments: Smart Beauty Care, Smart Food Cooking, and Smart Wellness Medical Beauty.
The preparatory college program involved 75 participants, including new students, faculty members, and industry personnel. The program included meetings with industry personnel who had confirmed employment, an overall orientation for the early employment contract departments, department-specific programs, recreational activities, and special lectures from companies.
Lee Hwa-seok, Director of Industry-Academia Cooperation, said, "I sincerely congratulate you on your first social advancement as prospective employees balancing work and study," and added, "I hope you become experts in your related fields by the time you complete your studies."
The early employment contract department project guarantees employment upon admission, achieving a 100% employment rate for all students in the early employment contract departments, including graduates and first-year students. Strong local mid-sized companies such as Pellia, Hwami Joo ITC, Ecomine, I-Product, Gukje Food, and Kangho Food are actively participating.
