Ulsan City to Designate and Foster Local Specialized Arts Corporations and Organizations

Visit or Mail Submission by March 13

Ulsan City is promoting the ‘2024 Designation Project for Professional Arts Corporations and Organizations’ to strengthen the expertise of corporate organizations in the cultural and artistic fields and enhance their self-sustainability.

This project designates outstanding arts corporations and organizations as professional arts corporations and organizations, and focuses on fostering them into competitive cultural and artistic institutions and organizations through institutional support such as fundraising and subsidy assistance.

Applicants must be nonprofit corporations or organizations registered in Ulsan City that are engaged in legitimate cultural and artistic activities.

This includes those primarily engaged in exhibitions, performances, planning, and production of works related to fine arts, music, dance, theater, gugak (traditional Korean music), and photography, or those primarily operating performance or exhibition facilities.

Interested organizations can submit their application forms and supporting documents by visiting or mailing them to the Ulsan City Culture and Arts Division by March 13.

Based on the submitted materials, Ulsan City plans to designate professional arts corporations and organizations in April after review by the Ulsan Regional Culture Cooperation Committee.

Designated organizations will receive benefits such as subsidy support and recognition as public interest corporations, allowing them to publicly solicit donations.
