Chairman Han "Blocking Proportional Representation Insertion"
The People Power Party's proportional representation satellite party, Kukmin-ui Mirae, officially launched on the 23rd with a central party founding convention.
Kukmin-ui Mirae held its founding convention at the People Power Party's central party office on the same day. The leadership of the People Power Party, including Emergency Response Committee Chair Han Dong-hoon, Floor Leader Yoon Jae-ok, and Policy Committee Chair Yoo Ui-dong, all attended the event.

Chairman Han introduced himself, saying, "I, Han Dong-hoon, will take the lead in the election campaign of Kukmin-ui Mirae." He added, "Although I had thoughts of entering the legislature to engage in legislative activities for the people, considering our path to victory and the upcoming months, I anticipated such a situation given the past behavior of the Democratic Party and its leader Lee Jae-myung, so I decided not to run. One of the reasons for not running was that I wanted to take the lead in Kukmin-ui Mirae's election campaign and join the path to victory." Under the current Public Official Election Act, Han, who is not running in the general election, is allowed to participate in Kukmin-ui Mirae's election campaign.
Chairman Han expressed his intention to block external influences on Kukmin-ui Mirae. He stated, "Through Kukmin-ui Mirae, we will present only those who are truly worthy and without selfish motives, people who can represent the People Power Party at the level of the people, without any shame." He added, "There will be no external influence in this process." He emphasized, "I will not push in anyone I know. However, if anyone tries to push in with selfish intentions, I will stop them no matter who they are."
The party leader of Kukmin-ui Mirae was appointed from among the People Power Party's practical officials, as Chairman Han had declared. At the founding convention, Policy Director Cho Hye-jung was elected as party leader. Leader Cho said, "The people support the reform will of the Yoon Seok-yeol government but express deep despair and concern over the legislature's failure to achieve substantial reform." She added, "The tyranny of the majority party, irresponsible populist activist politics, and double standards politics must be decisively judged in this general election."
