It is reported that 100 undercover inspection team members have been deployed across the 25 autonomous districts of Seoul to check public officials' discipline.
A key official from one of Seoul's autonomous districts stated on the morning of the 23rd, "We received a report that 100 undercover inspection team members from the Prime Minister's Office and Seoul City have started activities in all autonomous districts of Seoul."
Accordingly, it is expected that they will focus on inspecting public officials' evening drinking gatherings to restore disrupted public service discipline.
The undercover inspection team for public service discipline is believed to have begun its activities to establish discipline among public officials as the April 10 general election is less than 50 days away.
With this movement detected, Seoul's autonomous districts are reportedly monitoring the undercover team's activities while advising public officials to be cautious about their conduct.
Additionally, each district is urging strict adherence to lunch hours (from 12 PM to 1 PM).
An official from one district said, "At times like this, it seems necessary to be careful about one's conduct."
