Special Education and Vulnerable Groups Music Counseling Therapy 'Jea Arts Psychology Center' Selected for Majungmul Service Project

‘Jea Arts Psychology Center’ (CEO Youngje Lim), which provides counseling therapy and psychological support services through music, has been selected for the 2024 Busan City Child Emotional Development Support Service and the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Special Education Targeted Seed Money Service project.


Based on its experience since 2009 in providing music therapy and psychological emotional support services to elementary, middle, and high schools, special education sites, and vulnerable groups, the center will begin recruiting participants from March 2024.

The ‘Social Voucher’ targets children and adolescents under the age of 18, who will receive services such as music therapy, art therapy, and psychological counseling. Voucher support funds are provided differentially according to income level. Special education recipients can apply for services through the Happiness Support Center in their registered residential area.


The Special Education Seed Money Service is a project that provides music therapy services and others to special education recipients enrolled from kindergarten to 12th grade, who are deemed in need of therapeutic support through deliberation by their individual schools and individualized education support teams.


CEO Youngje Lim stated, “We plan to contribute to the emotional stability of vulnerable children and adolescents throughout Busan City by providing systematic and professional therapeutic services through psychological approaches using the tool of art.”

Applications start from March 1, and inquiries can be made to ‘Jea Arts Psychology Center’ or applications can be submitted at the Happiness Support Center in the applicant’s registered residential area.
