Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, was selected as an excellent institution in the field of security work by Gyeongnam Province. According to the county on the 15th, it was selected as an excellent institution as a result of the 2023 regular security audit conducted by Gyeongnam Province and received a commendation from the governor.

The security audit is conducted to proactively respond to security threats, prevent security incidents in advance, establish security awareness, and create best practices in security work.

The county was selected as an excellent institution by receiving high scores in evaluations such as general security, information and communication security, and spatial information security.

So far, the county has been striving to maintain a thorough security status by conducting frequent and surprise security inspections targeting each department and providing training for security work personnel to prevent security incidents in advance.

In addition, to enhance security at the government office, the county increased the number of security guards and placed a duty desk in the lobby to strengthen the access control and security for visitors to the county office, thereby maintaining civil service response and security inside the government building.
