Noso Young, Gwangju Nam-gu Council Member, Proposes Amendment to Multi-family Housing Ordinance

The "Nam-gu Apartment Support Management Ordinance Amendment Bill," proposed by No So-young, a member of the Nam-gu District Council in Gwangju Metropolitan City, passed the review of the Social Construction Committee at the 299th extraordinary session on the 31st.

This comprehensive amendment ordinance consolidates and abolishes four ordinances with similar characteristics among the seven ordinances related to apartments in Nam-gu: ▲ Ordinance on the Management of Apartment Support Work in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City ▲ Ordinance on the Activation and Support of Apartment Remodeling in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City ▲ Ordinance on the Formation and Operation of the Apartment Dispute Mediation Committee in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City ▲ Ordinance on the Audit of Apartment Management in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City. The main purpose is to revise them into a representative ordinance that encompasses all aspects of apartment housing.

Councilor No said, "Through this ordinance revision, I hope that residents can easily understand the contents related to apartment support work and contribute to the establishment and efficient operation of the system."

The ordinance bill is scheduled to be finally approved at the 2nd plenary session of the 299th extraordinary session on the 2nd of next month.
