The Daegu Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Suhak) announced on the 25th that the secondary battery global company 'CIS' has joined the Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign by donating 50 million won.
The donation ceremony held on the afternoon of the 24th was attended by Kim Dongjin, CEO of CIS, Kim Suhak, Chairman of the Daegu Community Chest of Korea, Lee Jaekyung, Executive Vice Chairman of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and other officials. The donated 50 million won will be used to support neighbors in need in cooperation with the Social Contribution Council of the Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Kim Sangtae).

CEO Kim Dongjin, who delivered the donation, said, "Secondary battery-related companies are often mentioned as future industries that will lead Daegu's economy," and added, "As a local company, we will do our best to achieve sustainable growth with a sense of responsibility."
CIS is a global company recognized for its technology in the field, specializing in manufacturing equipment for the electrode process, a core process of secondary batteries based in Daegu. It has grown into a key regional company, receiving the 100 million dollar export tower award in 2021, among other achievements.
