ResearchAlum forecasted on the 15th that FiberPro's performance will improve due to expansion into various application markets. Along with a positive stock price outlook, it newly presented a target price of 5,625 KRW.

FiberPro is an optical measurement company established in 1997. It originated from the optical fiber laboratory at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology). Based on core technology in polarization control solutions, it has developed various products such as fiber optic gyroscopes and integrated optical devices. Polarization control technology is a technique that controls polarization, the property of light vibrating in a specific direction.

Researcher Choi Seonghwan of ResearchAlum explained, "FiberPro is recognized for its world-class technology and competitiveness in optical signal processing and analysis," adding, "It handles high-quality products for the defense and aerospace markets."

He continued, "It is utilized in guided weapons, system attitude control, combat vehicle navigation, and navigation and attitude control of unmanned vehicles," and added, "Major clients include Hanwha Aerospace and LIG Nex1."

He stated, "PLC-based optical devices separate and multiplex two or more different optical wavelength signals to transmit ultra-high-speed, large-capacity data," and "They are used as core components in transceiver modules for communication within data centers." Furthermore, he emphasized, "With the advent of the artificial intelligence (AI) era causing a surge in data traffic, demand for these products is also increasing," and "FiberPro is currently producing CWDM chips mounted on 40G and 100G transceivers."

Researcher Choi analyzed, "They are developing general-purpose measuring instruments for communication equipment to secure new customers," and "They are conducting projects such as developing new measuring instruments for quantum cryptography communication with major domestic telecommunication companies."
