The on-site inspection was carried out to check overall operations of the evening care classrooms and to provide care services in a safe environment.
Officials from the Office of Education visited Haenamdong Elementary School to focus on inspecting safety management conditions for students, including safety enhancement devices, provision of snacks and meals, and student dismissal, to prevent and support safety accidents in the care classrooms.
They also encouraged the care staff who look after students until nighttime and took time to listen to voices from the field regarding improvements.
Kang Sang-cheol, Director of the Safety and Welfare Division, said, “We will supplement deficiencies and improve necessary matters through this on-site inspection of the care classrooms,” adding, “We will do our best so that parents can feel at ease and students can use care services happily and healthily in a safe environment.”
