Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Attends Donation Ceremony by Park Chang-geun Fan Cafe for Seoul Area Fogni

On the 8th at 2 p.m., Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon-gu, held a donation ceremony for the ‘Park Chang-geun Fan Cafe Seoul Region Pogni’ at the Nowon-gu Mayor's Office in Seoul.

On this day, the ‘Park Chang-geun Fan Cafe Seoul Region Pogni’ donated 1 million won collected by its members, hoping it would help neighbors in need.

The target amount for the 2024 Hope Ondol Warm Winter campaign is approximately 3.282 billion won (about 835 million won in cash and about 2.446 billion won in goods). The district adjusted the target amount considering the prolonged economic downturn.

This fundraising campaign started on November 15 last year and will continue for three months until February 14, 2024. Currently, the Love Temperature Tower fundraising has reached 50%, achieving 1.6 billion won.

The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Mayor Oh Seung-rok and officials from the ‘Park Chang-geun Fan Cafe Seoul Region Pogni’, proceeding with the donation handover and commemorative photo session.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok of Nowon-gu expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you for taking the lead in good deeds and extending a helping hand. This will be a great support to neighbors suffering from the double hardship of cold waves and rising prices.”
