Handonghun Appointed as Emergency Committee Member of People Power Party Along with Kim Yeji, Min Kyungwoo, Kim Kyungryul, and 8 Others

Han Dong-hoon, the Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, announced on the 28th a plan to form the emergency committee centered around non-politicians. Among current lawmakers, only former Supreme Council member Kim Ye-ji was included.

Park Jeong-ha, the chief spokesperson of the People Power Party, revealed the emergency committee personnel plan at the National Assembly on the same day. There are a total of eight emergency committee members directly appointed by Chairman Han. In addition to former Supreme Council member Kim, the members include Han Ji-a, associate professor of rehabilitation medicine at Eulji University, lawyer Koo Ja-ryong of Hanbyul Law Firm, Jang Seo-jeong, CEO of the childcare and education platform 'Jaranda,' Park Eun-sik, head of the 'Honam Alternative Forum Seeking Common Sense and Justice,' Min Kyung-woo, executive director of the Alternative Coalition, accountant Kim Kyung-ryul, and Yoon Do-hyun, CEO of SOL, who was recruited through the talent recruitment committee.

Ex officio emergency committee members include the floor leader and the chairperson of the policy committee.

The emergency committee will officially launch once it receives approval from the Standing National Committee on the 29th. Upon approval, the People Power Party's Supreme Council will be automatically dissolved.

Chairman Han plans to present appointment letters and introduce the reasons for the appointments on the 29th. The emergency committee is expected to pay a visit to the National Cemetery on January 1st, the first day of the new year, as its first official schedule.
