Actor Lee Seon-gyun was found dead, and a post by a netizen claiming to be his lifelong friend is drawing attention.

On the 27th, a post by a person identified as A, who claims to be "a classmate of Lee Seon-gyun," was published on the online community 'MLB Park.' A stated, "After graduation, I pursued a different major and am working in a field unrelated to theater." Lee Seon-gyun studied acting and art history at the Korea National University of Arts' School of Drama.

A shared a photo of a pen, saying, "This is the pen I received when I enrolled," and posted a picture of a pen engraved with the phrase 'Korea National University of Arts Congratulations on Admission.' He added, "I looked for a photo to verify it," and "Since not everything seemed appropriate, I am only posting the pen photo for verification purposes."

He continued, "The reason I wanted to leave even a short post is to say that Seon-gyun was a truly kind person," adding, "People have different perspectives and experiences, so various opinions may arise, but he was fundamentally a good-natured friend."

He further said, "He disliked causing harm to others, was respectful to senior colleagues in the industry, and tried hard to take good care of juniors," adding, "As a human, he must have had his limits. Who hasn't? I ask that you postpone curiosity about criticism and disputes and show at least minimal respect for a person's final moments, which would be a great comfort to those left behind."

The police announced that Lee Seon-gyun was found unconscious inside a vehicle near Waryong Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul. Earlier, at 10:12 a.m., a 112 emergency call was received reporting that "my husband left home after writing a note resembling a suicide letter," and about 18 minutes later, at 10:30 a.m., the police found Lee Seon-gyun's vehicle. The identity check confirmed that the unconscious man was indeed Lee Seon-gyun.

Several hours later, Lee Seon-gyun's agency, Hodoo&U Entertainment, stated, "We are sorry to deliver such sad news. Actor Lee Seon-gyun passed away on December 27."

Meanwhile, Lee Seon-gyun had been booked on charges of repeatedly using narcotics at the residence of B, a manager of a nightlife establishment in Gangnam, and had undergone police investigations three times. The last investigation took place on the 24th.
