Former National Assembly Member Lee Yun-seok: "I am confident I can do a lot for Mokpo"

Declaration of Candidacy for Mokpo City Electoral District as Democratic Party Candidate

Former National Assembly member Lee Yoon-seok of the Democratic Party of Korea will declare his candidacy for the Mokpo City electoral district in next year's general election at 10:30 a.m. on the 21st in the Citizens' Room of the Mokpo City Council.

According to Lee's camp on the 19th, Lee Yoon-seok, who was the first among prospective candidates to complete candidate registration on the first day of submission, the 12th, expressed strong determination, saying, "If it is for Mokpo, I will be the first and number one to step forward," and "I am confident that I can do a lot for Mokpo."

Lee has declared the 'Mokpo Metropolitan Era' and expressed his ambition to create a turning point for regional development through the integration of Mokpo, Muan, and Sinan. Having served as a two-term lawmaker representing the Muan-Sinan district, he is regarded as the most suitable person to achieve the integration of the three cities and counties and to promote metropolitanization.

Meanwhile, former lawmaker Lee Yoon-seok served three terms as a member of the Jeonnam Provincial Assembly and as its chairman, succeeded in being re-elected as a National Assembly member for the Muan-Sinan district, and also served as president of Digital Seoul Culture and Arts University as a political science Ph.D.
