‘Chuncheon Geumho Eoullim The First’, Drawing Lots for Unit Selection and Designated Contract on 16th

Although the real estate market is undergoing a long-term price adjustment nationwide, Chuncheon in Gangwon-do continues to maintain its hot momentum. Every complex launched this year has recorded high subscription competition rates and early sellouts, with Dong-myeon Mancheon-ri’s ‘Chuncheon Kumho Eoullim The First’ also reportedly nearing a complete sellout.


The Chuncheon sales market is truly ‘hot.’ This year, a total of three complexes were supplied in Chuncheon alone. In particular, the 59㎡ and 116㎡ units of Chuncheon Kumho Eoullim The First have already achieved 100% sellout through official contracts and preliminary winner contracts. In the lottery subscription and winner contracts conducted from the 11th, most of the remaining 84㎡ units have found owners, bringing the project closer to an early complete sellout.


Industry experts say that in a situation of severe housing supply shortage, nationwide demand is flocking to secure new apartments with high future value and a mini-new town-scale residential area of about 3,000 households, making a quick sellout highly likely.


In fact, nearby Hupyeong-dong, where the complex is located, is equipped with large marts such as MS Mart, Lotte Mart, and One Mart, as well as Hupyeong-dong Post Office and Chuncheon Seongsim Hospital. Nearby educational facilities include Mancheon Elementary School, Chuncheon Girls’ High School, Gangwon Middle School, and Gangwon High School. Additionally, expectations for the Hupyeong-Mancheon residential town are rising as new infrastructure is expected to be rapidly expanded through large-scale redevelopment projects forming new residential towns.


The well-connected transportation network is also a strong point. First, the four-lane circular road around the outskirts of Chuncheon city allows quick access anywhere within Chuncheon. Additionally, the Chuncheon IC on the Jungang Expressway, located within a 5 km radius, provides easy access to Seoul and the metropolitan area. The Gyeongchun Line Chuncheon Station is also about a 10-minute drive away, enabling travel to major Seoul areas such as Yongsan and Cheongnyangni within an hour. Chuncheon Express and Intercity Bus Terminals are also nearby.


Another factor raising expectations for an early sellout is that Chuncheon Kumho Eoullim The First is the first Kumho Eoullim complex to land in the Chuncheon area. Most units are oriented south, with 59㎡, 84㎡A, and 116㎡ types featuring a 4Bay slab-type design, while the 84㎡B type has an open-back design with an LDK kitchen layout that removes the boundary between the living room and kitchen. Additionally, storage spaces such as pantries, dressing rooms, and powder rooms are placed throughout to enhance space utilization. The parking ratio of about 1.54 spaces per household is also notable for being generously spacious in the area.


Various financial benefits are also offered. Financial incentives such as a first deposit of 10 million KRW and interest-free interim payments significantly reduce the financial burden on buyers. Free options including living room art walls, induction (hybrid cooktop), built-in wardrobes, and kitchen gallery windows are provided to effectively lower the actual sale price.

Meanwhile, Chuncheon Kumho Eoullim The First plans to hold the final lottery-based unit designation contract, known as ‘Jupjup,’ on December 16. It will be held at 11 a.m. at the model house, and applications can be submitted regardless of residence area, home ownership status, or subscription savings account possession.


Additionally, as a token of appreciation for the support, a gratitude event for applicants has been prepared. All applicants can participate without exception by visiting the model house and filling out an entry form.
